Hammermill Paper Company needed a new contemporary website to replace their outdated brand site. This website redesign is part of a larger rebranding effort to reposition the company, creating a new look and feel for Hammermill that re-establishes its brand as Paper for Life.

The Goal
The goal was to create a fun, friendly, and energized site that builds greater brand awareness; especially among a younger audience. The first site objective was to deliver a responsive design. The next objectives consisted of streamlining the existing navigation structure, creating more pathways to the products based upon a variety of search methods, and folding existing product tools into the site itself. The content and architectural site changes were made in parallel to a content refocus and re-emphasis. There are ongoing efforts to create new content and provide resources valuable for users, and create a bridge to people’s digital lives continue.
